Air switch – Cleveland Controls

Cleveland Controls has over 50 years of experience in the design, application and installation of products to prove, measure and control air flow.

Cleveland Controls offer a wide range of products designed for commercial, industrial and residential HVAC applications.

Cleveland Controls offers more air pressure sensing switch features and services than any other manufacturer.
Our specialty is designing custom solutions for specific application needs.

AFS serie

Designed for HVAC, Energy Management and Direct Digital Control (DDC) applications

  • Adjustable set points are available in 8 Pa to 3 kPa
    (0,08 mbar – 30 mbar) ranges.
  • Wiring connections may be open or enclosed
  • Many terminal styles, sample line connectors and mounting brackets
  • Optional features include manual reset, visual set point indicator, operation indicator, alarm light, single or multiple time delay configurations, and NEMA-rated housings

ANA serie

Series ANA Switches are designed specifically for OEM markets

  • ANA models are factory-calibrated to customer specified set points between 12 Pa to 3 kPa (0,12 mbar – 30 mbar)
  • They are used for either static or differential pressure applications, wherever a specified fixed set point is required

DDP serie

Series DDP Switches provide dual switching action

  • Two separately-operated, independently-adjustable SPDT snap-acting switches are mounted on a common foot bracket
  • Differential pressures up to 8 Pa or 3 kPa (0,08 mbar – 30 mbar)
    be measured
  • Because the two snap switches are set independently, an adjustable "dead band" can be established for control circuits requiring both high and low actuation points
  • Many control and alarm functions are possible: for instance, monitor two pressure sources and sense the differential for actuation at two independent set points

DFS serie

Ideal for duct heater, oven, or other HVAC and Energy Management applications where a non-adjustable (tamper-proof) set point is desirable

  • DFS Switches are simple, economical and reliable sensing switches with fixed set points.
  • Have high and low pressure connections.
  • Actuate on pressure rise at 7,5 Pa, 12 Pa, 50 Pa or 100 Pa
    (0,075 – 0,12 – 0,5 and 1 mbar)
Available with "open-mounted" snap-switch for use in areas where internal access is limited

FS serie

Ideal for duct heater, oven, or other HVAC and Energy Management applications where a non-adjustable (tamper-proof) set point is desirable

  • FS Switches are simple, economical and reliable sensing switches with fixed set points.
  • Have high pressure connection
  • Actuate on pressure rise at 7,5 Pa, 12 Pa, 50 Pa or 100 Pa
    (0,075 – 0,12 – 0,5 and 1 mbar)
  • Available with either an enclosed snap switch or an "open-mounted" snap-switch for use in areas where internal access is limited

PAS serie

Series PAS Switches are suitable for typical pneumatic applications

  • They are particularly useful in atmospheres where electrical arcing presents a hazard
  • The pneumatic PAS switch can vent a restricted compressed air source until reaching set point, where switch actuation closes the vent
  • The closing of the vent sends a full pressure pneumatic signal outside of the hazardous area, either to an electrical switch or directly to a pneumatically-actuated control device
  • PAS switches are available with adjustable set point ranges of
40 Pa to 3 kPa (0,4 mbar – 30 mbar) Output signal is 20 psi

PS serie

Ideal for duct heater, oven, or other HVAC and Energy Management applications where a non-adjustable (tamper-proof) set point is desirable

  • PS Switches are simple, economical and reliable switches with a factory fixed set point
  • Actuate on pressure rise at 12 Pa (0,12 mbar)

RFS serie

Series RFS Switches are designed for HVAC, Energy Management, and Direct Digital Control (DDC) applications

  • They have adjustable set points available in 25 Pa to 12,5 kPa
    (0,12 mbar – 12,5 mbar) ranges
  • Various contact materials and contact logic arrangements are available
  • Wiring connections may be open or enclosed
  • Many terminal styles, sample line connectors and mounting brackets are available

RSS serie

RSS Switches offer OEM’s a low-cost design for residential furnaces and other light commercial applications

  • Actuate on either pressure rise or fall
  • Constructed of high temperature thermoplastic
  • Many terminal styles, sample line connectors and mounting brackets are available

NS2 serie

  • Ideal solution in applications where safety and dependable performance are critical
  • Robustly constructed of glass-filled polycarbonate with ports and switch cover fixed to the body
  • Low pressure sensitivity, narrow switching differential, and tight set point tolerance over the entire temperature range
